Requirements for Electronic Bidet Seats
- A bidet seat basically replaces your existing toilet seat. All you need is a tap next to the toilet and a power point within 1.5 meters. If you have your tap in the cistern please leave a note that you need the ''Alternative fitting''.

Wonderful – would never go back to just paper. Having the remote on the wall within easy reach has been very convenient. This unit uses fast heating, so there’s a 1 second or so delay before you get warm water, but i haven’t found it significant. While you usually only need 1 cycle, you can get as much warm water as you need without having to wait for more to heat up. While i partially bought this unit because it has some advanced features – eg pulse – i found that after a few weeks getting used to it, i just went with the vanilla settings. Either way, this bidet can remember your preferred settings, so all you need to press after setting them up is one button. Apart from features and looks, i settled on this DIB unit because it came with a standard two year warranty. Most other bidets – even more expensive ones – have a 1 year warranty that you pay to extend. All in all, i’ve had this bidet a few months and it’s been very reliable – i’m very happy with it.

the bidet has worked perfectly for 6 months and I see no reason that it should not keep on going. The bidet is part of my thinking that the loo area is a health centre rather than an unmentionable centre. I have included a foam hand dispenser and a hand air dryer. Also we tried it on the old pan to evaluate it before buying the top of the range Caroma Flex pan and hidden cistern- you need the extra space to feel uncluttered. It took about 6 weeks to get into a comfortable routine with the gear but now I am apprehensive of going to so called 5 star hotels without this necessity. Two people use it 6 times a day. The only problem I have is that we cant see the buttons at night on the unit and that means a night light has to be installed as we dont want to turn main lights on. Couldnt be happier;

It has worked perfectly for 10 months since installation. Only thing that needs improvement is the remote wall mount. When placing the remote in the mount, it is not obvious that it is secure and as a result it could fall on the floor.
